electronic music has the ability to sidestep the boundaries of culture and generation to guide our thoughts and feelings towards introspection, contemplation, emotional exploration, as well as creating sonic landscapes and futuristic atmospheres.
Imagine a world where reptiles have mutated into giants and are lurking around every corner, bent on wiping out the human race and having the planet to themselves. Terror, darkness, and destruction everywhere. This is made almost entirely of loops to give it that sci-fi-could-be-set-in-any-era feeling.
Is it an ad for a prestige car or is someone being stalked in a super dangerous neighbourhood? I had loads of fun with dark, heavy samples, sound effects, and loops featuring cynical organ samples to make this funky – if ambiguous – piece with a sinister edge.
